NEWS:
One big tournament and three consecutive daily tournament this July was all he
needed to catapult his ranking and points on this year’s TOURNAMENT LEADER
BOARD. More than two months now since the launching of WILD ACES tournament
ranking, Atoy Quilas is running hot on daily tournaments as well as making it to
the points on big tournaments. Leading the race with 7,500 points, the humble
guy from magalang Pampanga is the guy to beat. Two weeks ago he made a
threepeat, pocketing the Friday, Saturday and Sunday hod’em game. When asked on
what is his secret “ consistently play every tournament and a little bit of
luck, the law of averages also applies in poker” he humbly replied. Behind the
race are Jay Lansang with 5,800 points, Eric Morrison and Roger Hiliker are tied
with 5,600 points and Pio Samson, despite his silence for a few weeks has 5,400
points
With more than 5 months remaining on this year tournament, the race is far from
over. Just like in poker you may hit something from the flop but the turn and
river can turn the table on you.
